Overview
It is a 6-month (V2.0) blended online course for Psychiatric Social Workers comprising of approximately 60hrs of blended online learning.
Completing this course will help you:
- To understand the basics of mental disorders to provide information
- To enhance the knowledge on psychosocial intervention for persons with mental illness at individual, family and community level
- To know the various preventive and promotive strategies in the field of mental health
ELIGIBILTY CRITERIA TO APPLY FOR THE COURSE:
Master of Arts in Social work or Masters of Social Work degree from any UGC recognized university
Master in Arts in Sociology working in the field of social worker
Is it recognized?
Yes. Board of Studies (BOS) of NIMHANS, a statutory body and Institute of National Importance, India (like MCI) has approved this course.
Not recognized by RCI or other similar bodies.
MODE OF ADMISSION & COURSE FEE:
Those who meet the eligibility criteria can register and apply online. Only those eligible are enrolled. Please ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria before you pay the fees as the fee is not refundable. The course fee is INR 5000/ for the Batch 12 (V2.0) onwards
